Municipal Planning Commission (MPC)
Is the approving body for subdivision applications and development permits. The MPC reviews and considers applications, stop orders, decisions and issues notices. In addition, they also review planning amendments such as changes to the Municipal Development Plan and Land Use Bylaw

The board hears and make decisions on matters pertaining to subdivision and development appeals resulting from a refusal from the MPC or an appeal
