Utilities Services

Utilities Services ensures all utilities infrastructure meets current standards and practices, operates all systems according to all applicable codes, and responds to emergencies and customer concerns.

Utilities Services also provides reliable, quality water and wastewater systems, to designated areas of the County. View the Water/Wasterwater map for water/wastewater information on specific area's of the County.

There are 10 water distribution systems located within the County. One receives water from a small water treatment plants maintained by county staff. The remaining nine are redistributed from EPCOR.

EPCOR and the County regularly test water quality parameters including bacteriological samples as required by Alberta Environment and recommended by Health Canada's National Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality.
